Woah, it’s huge! It looks pretty awesome, doesn’t it? Just wait until you hear the price…

At a whopping $259.99, it’s a very expensive set; however, considering the size, piece count, and minifigures included (some of which are only available in this set or another massive set, such as the 10188 Death Star), it’s worth it, and definitely a must-get for any Lego Star Wars fan or Ultimate Collectors Series collector. While it is not explicitly stated that it is an UCS set, it does have some of the same characteristics as one. Some examples include: a stand, name plate, and very few play features. They’ve only included “necessary” play features, such as the folding wings or opening cockpit, no flick-fire missiles or firing cannon like other regular sets. Previously, the Shop At Home website for the Star Wars theme had the same design as many other Shop At Home websites  – a plain white background. Now, Lego has updated the site, the design correlating with the new 2010 Lego Star Wars sets theme – a dark, cloudy blue color scheme, starring Captain Rex from the Clone Wars. They’re also displaying a couple of new videos promoting the August 2010 sets, including the 8096 Emperor Palpatine’s Shuttle and 8098 Clone Turbo Tank. Check out the updated site here.
